even rarer than special abilites, are the
creatures. no, not creatures as in house-elves and
hippogriffs, but creatures as in vampires and werewolves.
veelas are becoming a little more common, with fleur and
gabrielle delacour having children and sending them to
hogwarts. but for vampires and werewolves, there were
barely any at all that attented hogwarts during harry's and
the marauders' time at school. because two eras barely had
any, this era won't have many either. you will need an
absolutely AMAZING application to be accepted as either
one of these creatures. this means that it is included in your
history with a lot of details. you add in their personality
how this changes them. you put in your appearance what
kind of abnormal characteristics they possess because of
their creature blood, and so on. you get the idea. as for
biting other students, there will be absolutely none of
it. simply because or else everyone will be asking you to bite
their character so that they become a werewolf/vampire as
well. the only time you can bite someone is if you come up
with a subplot where you must bite one or two people max to
play it out fully.
VAMPIRES
( credit to different directions for the info )
humans turn into part vampires when their flesh is merely
bitten by a vampire, and their blood is not fully taken
away from them, therefore, allowing them to become part
vampires, part human. they have much more tolerance
towards the sun, but less strength than a full or a pureblood
vampire might. their strengths are superstrength, the
ability of seducing everyone by their voice, and extremely
fast movements. however, they are nothing compared to
those vampires that are higher than them with the blood
status. they are easily affected by bullets and are
extremely vulnerable when hit by one, but the one main
way to fully kill them is with the wooden stake placed
within their hearts, but they're also affected by the many
ways human can die. those vampires that have tainted
human blood within them sometimes turn violent and
might end up losing their minds to such violence. vampires
can breed with their kinds only, and when two vampires
who have absolutely no human part in them and were born
vampires (which is actually rather rare nowadays) breed
together, their child become pure blooded, immediately
making him royal within the vampire world, and with
extreme strength that even most vampires fear. the pure
blooded vampires are capable of controlling everyone that
comes along their way, and their strengths aren't limited to
physical powers, but also mental powers and telekinesis,
where they can produce havoc by merely thinking it. as far
as everyone's knowledge, pure bloods cannot possibly die,
not even with wooden stakes. they aren't quite as
vulnerable towards things such as churches, stakes, or holy
water, and it hardly weakens them. a full blooded vampire
doesn't resemble pure blooded ones in such a way, for they
weren't born vampires, but were turned into one when
their whole blood is sucked out and replaced by the blood of
the vampire who had bitten them, which isn't as rare as
pure bloods but rather low in numbers as well. they have
much more powers than those tainted vampires do, but it's
hardly anything compared to the pure bloods of their kind.
they also have superstrength, ability of seduction, and
faster movements, but their abilities are much stronger
than those with tainted blood, and they're very much
immortal and cannot be affected by bullets or such items.
however, they can die whenever a wooden stake is placed
within their hearts perfectly. there are tales in which
many vampires fell in love with human or vice versa, and
that could possibly happen but they could never breed with
human, therefore many end up heartbroken or turned into
vampires. the avada kedavra curse affects the part
vampires only and kills them, whilst it merely weakens full
blooded ones and have absolutely no effect on the purest of
bloods.
WEREWOLVES
as for werewolves, there is only one kind of werewolf, and
all have the same amount of strength (unless they have
enhanced it over the years) and the same powers and such.
superstrength fast movements, though not as fast as the
vampires, and healing. werwolves are said to be immortal
unless hit by silver bullets, though they also die from being
hit by the killing curse. werewolves are in their human
form whenever there isn't a full moon, and can breed with
humans, but never could a werewolf be born. the child will
turn out human, but might even have some unusual
characteristics, like possessing strength more than the
average human being. they will never, however, turn into
werewolves, unless bitten by one. there still isn't a cure for
such a curse, but the wolfsbane potion allows a werewolf to
remain sane whenever there is a full moon, though hardly
anyone knows how to make it.
