At the top of the West Tower lies the Owlery, home to student (and teacher)-owned owls during the school year. Even if you don't have an owl of your own, you're welcome to use a school owl for sending letters.

Ravenclaw Common Room

If you can answer the bronze knocker's question, welcome to the Ravenclaw common room. While celebrations are held from time to time- usually for Quidditch wins -it is usually fairly quiet, except when the louder boys start shouting.

Gryffindor Common Room

The Gryffindor Common Room is usually full of people and is the host to celebrations and the occasional just-cuz-we-can party. While studying is an option chosen by some students, more students choose recreation, and it's hard to get any peace in the common room.
